We had a week in the Isle of Skye - mainly for aurora spotting and land based DSLR photography, but I did get my Mini2 out now and again!
This is the Eilean Dornan castle, on the way up there.

It’s from the carpark at the Dornie Community Hall and toilets. A popular coach stop for photos.

Thanks Rob. I’d wondered about flying from there when we were there in May but I thought I’d get too much of the car park!
You can walk right up to the edge of the water and fly from there. Lots of room 
There are also toilets there. It operates as a rest stop.
