Scott's View - Added to Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Scotland

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission not required.

Eildon Hill lies just south of Melrose, Scotland in the Scottish Borders, overlooking the town. The name is usually pluralised into “the Eildons” or “Eildon Hills”, because of its triple peak. The 422 metres high eminence overlooks Teviotdale to the South.
Scott’s View is a viewpoint in the Scottish Borders, overlooking the valley of the River Tweed, which is reputed to be one of the favourite views of Sir Walter Scott.

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 30/11/2023. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.
