I want to take some screenshots from some of my videos and was wondering what is the best way to go about it.
Is taking a screenshot off a video played on a desktop pc at the videos highest resolution the same as taking a screenshot of the same video played on a phone at the same resolution?
Any advice appreciated.
I load the video into an editor and use the snapshot function on the frame I want, that way I can move the video frame by frame… Most editors have this function.
I don’t have a video editor on my PC (10 years old 
). Guessing VLC player will have an option for screenshots.

Yep, VLC has very good snapshot feature
