Is there a go to set of spare screws that I should be getting?
My Darwin Baby Ape has lost one of the arm screws (M2 * 8mm) and I don’t have a spare. I wondered if there’s a bulk pack of multiple screw and bolt sizes that is the go-to for the fpv hobby, before I pay a similar price just for 10 of this single screw type.
I have this set that stays in my Drone bag for lost screws when in the field, I don’t really use the bigger M4 and M5 but something like this is good to have for when in need.
I have a few different ones as you can get different head types such as button and hex socket depending on where they are used. Amazon has many different sets and types and they’re all pretty much the same.
After while you end up with surplus though, M2 and M3 are gone before the rest.
Thanks, I just ordered a cross head pan screw bolt version of that, should arrive tomorrow.
Disassemble, conformal coat and reassemble tomorrow night and hopefully I don’t have to be scared of slightly wet grass anymore.
Hex head socket screws are the norm in our world and lastso much longer as the heads don’t round.
Fair enough, I’ve changed the order to the hex cap head screws.
