Impressive viaduct that was on the long closed Waverley route from Carlisle to Edinburgh.
Accessed along a narrow track off tue B6399 and great views can be enjoyed .
The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 29/10/2025. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location. Landowner permission may be required before taking off.
great place, also near by is whitrope heritage centre, They have a few trains, which you can take off from public road. td9 9ty, if you are coming from the south, might be best by newcastleton, or the other direction is hawick, Also near by is the old pow camp stobs (td9 9sg) i have not visited it, but i think there is some youtube videos about all three places.
