If you’re up meeting other drone pilots / club members, your best bet is to pick a location, date & time and post it in the Meetings part of the forum. Other members will reply and probably attend.
You’ve just missed a club meet at the Chesterfield Bando (Sunday 9th Feb).
Which you may know as Bolehill Quarry, Wingerworth.
It’s a place FPV drone owners visit frequently.
Keep an eye on the meetings section of the forum and you’ll start to see more and more meetings being posted now the weather is starting to change for the better

Yeah, there’s a few around Chesterfield. Me for one.
What sort of drones are you flying? I mostly do homebuilt FPV quads and fixed wing.

Fixed wings, very fascinating!! I fly a Fini x8 mini to patrol the area and then if there’s something noticeable I have a DJI Inspire 1…where do you usually fly? Cheers
I don’t know the nearby area so well, sadly. Do you live around Chesterfield?
I often head out into the Peak District… But there’s the bando that was mentioned above and I do go a lot over to Drone Circle, which meets at a location near Macclesfield.
I also go to a flying field all the way down near Tamworth…
I went a few times around Derwent Reservoir and nearby, recently I took advantage visiting my parents in Italy to do some shooting over the mountains
