Recently, I visited Shenzhen, home of Dji. Amazing to think that a few short decades ago, this was all rice fields.

Worrying? Maybe. But hardly surprising. 1.4 billion people and massive natural resources, huge internal market… they’ve become a force to be reckoned with for exactly the same reasons the US supplanted Europe 100 years ago.
