Should I sell my Mini 2?

Since getting the Air 2 from @macspite I’ve barely used the mini 2, I don’t really fly in built up areas, admittedly I do on very rare occasions but I’m not really fussed for it. I have a few extra bits and bobs which might entice a buyer but it’s a fare bit of cash to lose over the time I have had it, the prices have dropped so much on used ones I don’t know if it’s worth keeping hold of but it’s just sat there gathering dust. Prices are only going to get lower. Either that or give it to someone who’s interested in taking it up just to get them involved?

I gave mine to my daughter and her boyfriend.

They have just purchased an Air 3!

Keep it unless you find a really deserving recipient. The Mini can go places the Air 2 cannot (legally) go, although to most people the difference between the two isn’t noticeable or of any interest

I’m not really fussed about that, as you say, 99.9% of people wouldn’t have a clue anyway. But as I said above I don’t really fly near people or in built up areas, my drone and camera time is an excuse to get away from people and buildings and be on my own.

I’m planning to give my Mini 1 to my son so that he and my grandson can have a go :+1: :+1: :+1:

If you want to fly whilst abroad you will probably have more options available with the mini 2.

As you’ve said the 2nd hand market is full of them, and a new one can be had for £249

Keep it, still a lot of fun and very capable

Well after a few days of mulling it over after reading the above, I’ve decided to keep hold of it. I’ll lose to much money on it. Plus I know an ex helicopter pilot who has taken an interest but they’re not sure on splashing the cash. So what better way to get them involved? Long term loan of a mini 2. Who knows, if I win a certain competition tonight I might have a nice gift for him.
