I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission requirements unknown.

Take off and landing was from the side of the road; there are gateways and laybys nearby that facilitate this.

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 16/10/2023. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

I want to fly here @Howard, have you got any tips or advice on where to park?

If you go to the DroneScene map you will see two locations marked. When I flew I first parked at a field entrance near Shoulsbury (probably 51.134803187096196, -3.8445491627056354), but you can also park just up the road at Mole’s Chamber, where the road does a sharp turn.

For Five Barrows, the second marker is for a layby, at 51.12042146732277, -3.812544938834573.

I was very much out of season so stopping was easy, but the wind was strong!
