Simple question: Which drone is best for a complete beginer?

FIMI X8 SE is a great machine and from what I have seen on youtube, it is better than the Hubsan. Try Captain Drone, he’s in Ottawa, Canada and his reports can be found on youtube.

Hi Paradad,
Thanks for that. I will take a look

Sorry boys,
I’ve stayed logged in but been offline since yesterday.
However, I’m even more confused now!
They have only gone & released a Zino 2 with a range of 8kl/ 5 miles & extended flight time of 33 minutes, Batteries or 3500ah but I can get 5000 ah batteries that will extend the flight time to 38/40 minutes.
The only problem is, I know the batteries fit the Zino & Zino pro but I’m not sure if they will fit the Zino 2. If anyone knows more, then I would appreciate the info.
As regards to the wife, she’s just gone out today & spent £250.00 in Pandora.
So I might get away with what I buy with only sleeping on the sofa for a week & no sex for 3 months!

Ive not looked at the Zino 2 so cant really comment but from what you have said sounds like a good contender to me. Check out reviews on youtube as they should tell you info like if the batteries are compatible etc.
The Wife spending spree in pandora is the perfect excuse to treat yourself I reckon

Yes, jobs a good un, the wife has gone and f+#@&k herself now!
I will let you know about the Zino 2 as well. I appreciate your thoughts about it

Two months later, SirGunner did you eventually get a drone? If so what did you end up with?

Hey Peter I did indeed get a drone. I ended up blowing my original budget and getting a Mavic Air 2 which I have to say I love and am very impressed by :+1:t2:

Well done! I’m sure if you’d stayed reasonably near your original budget and gone for a Fimi X8 you’d have been happy with that. But although they have similar performance there is no doubt that the Mavic Air 2 has the edge, particularly with the anti collision sensors. Not just happy, but ecstatic   No doubt I will eventually upgrade from my Fimi A3 although at the moment I’m happy with it, but I live in hope that DJI eventually reduce the price of the smart controller to a sensible level!

Cheers,

Peter
