I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission not required.

TOAL was from the beach and flying was after both Skara Brae and nearby Skaill House had closed and there were no visitors. Parking available at Skaill Beach.

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 22/04/2023. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

Was there last week, but was to windy to fly, and never got back, a drone shot is the only way to appreciate it

Was windy, but following your lead an after hours TOAL from the beach, although we had some bird issues, so didnt stay as long as I wanted, till, I think we did ok…
