Slovakia has the prettiest castles

Spending a couple of weeks in Slovakia (home is Bournemouth, so Slovakia is really quite exotic for me ) and discovering the prettiest castles - straight out of a child’s fairy tale book. This is Smolenice Castle, dating from 15th century and sitting in the middle of the Lower Carpathians, keeping an eye on the Austrian border.

Beautiful pictures as you say that’s where “fairy tales” are made. I’m in Crete now so it’s all stunning bays and coastline here.
