Small padded bag for AIR3

Hi All,

Looking at downsizing my rucksack for hillwalking/trail running, and need a few ideas…

I have a 65L Osprey rucksack that will hold all 4 drones in their cases and allow me to carry spare clothing, accessories, and wet-weather gear, but as we want to do more trail running and lighter-weight walking, it is a bit too large…

Instead, I have just bought a 20L Salomon Aerotrek day sack, fitted out at the front like a running vest and with room to easily store the AVATA2 and AIR3 and batteries in the main compartment, with a windproof jacket padding it out and room in the main pockets for wet-weather hiking trousers and jacket.

Everything fits snugly, but the AIR3 is loose. Without a bag, does anyone have a kink to a padded drawstring-type bag, or some sort of bag that closely fits the AIR3 that I can buy and pop the drone in, just to give it a little more protection?

Any ideas would be appreciated…

CERFFOOL Bag Case for DJI Air 3S Portable Travel Drone Storage : Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo …this is the case I use for my Air3, had it about 18 months. It’s not as rigid as a hardcase, but it definitely keeps the drone safe inside a backpack.

You could try this.
I use on my Air3S.

The RC bag also fits the Mini 5 drone.

Or buy a cheap padded jacket, get the scissors and sewing machine out and make a custom one or two

I use the ones that @Marton has posted a link to Amazon for and they are perfect for backpack use. They are a little snug on getting the drone and controller in but once in they quite safe - they are also lined inside. I am quite happy with them.

Try your local camera shop if you have one, second hand zipped lens cases can usually be had very cheaply, my Mavic 4 pro is a snug fit into a 70mm-200mm lens case bought for £5 second hand.
