Has anyone come across this, admittedly I clipped a tree while out today and on giving the quad a once over I noticed the run cam had a smug on the lens.
I gave it a wipe and some of it came off but was left with the below …

Just to add to this are you able to replace the lens on these or is it a complete camera change ???
Hey Nick it depends on the camera make and model etc but yes replacement lens are available
As for cleaning, have you tried some lens cleaning fluid on a lens cloth?
@notveryprettyboy is the expert on lenses, he’s changed a few

Yeah if its chipped, just buy another with the same thread and focal length. Then screw it in and focus it. No big deal.
Thanks guys will give it a go, justa heads up not sure if anyone is aware but they have cleared all the shubs and trees at Willington cooling towers.
Lot easier to get round once your there
