Appear to be having a problem with the moonlight VTX not recording on microSD but recording on goggles before next flights.
tldr; If you remove the microSD card to view videos, once reinstalled on moonlight, you should reformat the microSD card using the goggles.
Recording is set to be both goggles and VTX
Steps to reproduce:-
- Format camera VTX using goggles menu.
- This wipes contents of microSD card.
- Fly a few flights.
- With quad powered off - removed microSD card
- Place in another device (Windows Tablet or Linux Laptop) (@smudge202 tablet)
- View footage etc.
- Place back in quad - Moonlight VTX,
- Fly a few flights. No further videos recorded on microSD card.
Steps to stop this happening:-
- Format camera VTX using goggles menu.
- This wipes contents of microSD card.
- Fly a few flights. Recording good on microSD card
- With quad powered off - removed microSD card
- Place in another device (Windows Tablet or Linux Laptop) (@smudge202 tablet)
- View footage etc.
- Place back in quad - Moonlight VTX,
- Again Format camera VTX using goggles menu.
- This wipes contents of microSD card.
- Fly a few flights. Recording good on microSD card including gyroflow and if set 4k video.
Obviously 4k is only available in on board recording and only way to get gyroflow data.
Interested if anyone else had or had not missing recording on microSD with moonlight ?
@Steviegeek ?
I will do further test to make sure 100% I can reproduce the bug.
Goggle suggests it just me that has this problem.
