Nope. We made them drone spectators - like Nigel, which were no charge from E.H. We made lots of people like drone today.
Sorry I forgot the £1.20 I owe in change.

Great to meet everyone yesterday and great intros into FPV drones.
I was trying to catch these in flight without much success, here’s one of the few that were in focus.
Not great without the venue in the shot but these mostly ended up like these.
must try harder next time.

I quite like these, shoes modern and ancient together. I am hoping the drawing/painting people have the ruins and some apocalypsise drone s in the painting.

Thanks for a great day guys! Brilliant day flying and great to meet you all. My first GADC meet and I’ll definitely be attending again.
Still trawling through the hours of footage but I have some great footage of the ‘follow the leader’ runs through the ruins! I’ll try and post some footage this week and I’ll be sure to edit that crash reel as well…

I checked with the team who advised that the gate you sent an image of shouldn’t have been locked? Hopefully you managed to gain access okay?
I plan to reply with a nice email.
- About draw Farnham and other ‘drone spectators’ coming on to site after safety briefing.
- Seeing if we can get another date for the Abbey
- Exploring which other EH site can be used for drone filming. Like the Abbey - one or two are in the open with lots of country side around.

I have just finished putting together this slow fpv tour of the site, shot on my cinewhoop. I still have a lot more footage from the day so there will be more to come when I have the time to edit something together. I’m also happy for anything to be shared with EH.
