Hi all, tried not to resort to posting but I have tried everything to set my new drone up.
Trying to configure a speedybee f405 flight controller using the app and or beta flight website and not having a good time.
When I plug the battery in, two motors seem to spin intermittently it’s very strange and I can’t work out why.
When I try to download updated firmware and flash it my computer tells me that it can’t be found?
Going round in circles here so any help would be super.

It tells you what can’t be found? The firmware or the FC?
You might need the serial port drivers. This may be worth a look.

So i’ve just had some fun with one of these myself.
If you haven’t changed the uarts in betaflight then the default uart for bluetooth is port 5.
Try connecting via bluetooth to the fc.
It does seem that you will need to reorder the motors too. Mine had to have this done after flashing with new firmware. Easy to do via BF or the app.
BF has a wizzard that you just follow the steps on.
