SS Fernebo wreck - Added to Beaches and Seaside Resorts in East of England

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission not required.

Make sure you time your visit to coincide with low tide

Park in Cromer itself then make your way down to the pier. Turn right towards Overstrand, and head along the promenade until you reach the end of the row of beach huts on your right.

There will be a complete groyne on your left hand side, with the next one along being roughly half its length. The wreck sits between these two groynes.

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 05/07/2020. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

Flew near here from Overstrand recently. Didn’t see the wreck (didn’t know it was there though) but a lovely bit of coastline. Can park for free at Overstrand and head towards Cromer as well as going the other way.
