St Conan's Kirk - Added to Places of Worship in Scotland

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission not required.

There is a layby opposite the church TOAL from there is possible care has to be taken, shots are achieved for the loch side of the building

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 14/11/2022. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

Nice photo.
as posted here earlier in the year… this is where me camera and lens parted company from me camera strap. resulting in very costly repairs.
It’s a nice place but its history is not what one would expect.

I found the inside views very interesting indeed.

Visited St Conan’s Kirk today, 1st March 2025. Sign on the gate banning all drone flights due to “the train track and neighboring houses”.

I’ve flown there several times, most recently a few weeks ago. Ignore the sign and take off from the roadside about 50yards past it where the road widens and the trees thin out a bit.

I flew there a couple of years ago, as a previous comment stated just take off from the roadside past the Kirk
