Probably won’t be long, the plans for the retirement home don’t include refurbishment of the building, typical of a building company to demolish everything old and rebuild new.

Yeah that is quite sad really. I’ve always thought it was a lovely looking building and your pictures show that.
The old St Edmunds Hospital on Wellingborough Road has had the facade retained and building refurbishment is incorporating it into the new building. Actually, I may take a look at that and take a flight or two around it.

Just looked at that was it bigger and reduced now?, it’s on a small plot for a hospital.

Yes it was. It covered the land to the left of it now occupied by Tesco Express and further to the rear. I’ve decided to pay it a visit in the morning and see how it is for flying. Fingers crossed I’ll get some footage.

I managed to get there this morning and got some footage. I took a few stills as well so once I’ve transferred them to the imac I’ll post a few bits. It looks as though the building work has stopped sadly.

Did you see if there a way to get in to walk around?

Which one? St. Crispin is fenced off though there may of been a way from the back near cricket ground, think most of its surrounding fence line is surrounded by houses
