St Mary & St Finnan Church is set off the A830 Fort William to Mallaig road at Glenfinnan, there is a layby in front of the church, but does not belong to the church.
the area is outside the Highlands flight restriction zone,(in force week days only from what i read) that said i had been there the day before flying over the monument at 8-30am (again taking off from public land) about 5mins after i landed 2 f15s came screaming up loch Shiel just guessing here, seemed to be at maybe 1000ft
The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 17/11/2022. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.
