How would you like to climb up those ladders to fix some tiles on the Parish Church of St Marys a grade 1 listed building dating from the 12th century in Billingshurst West Sussex

It isn’t that high, just looks precarious.
yeah that was my thought too - feel they should just skip the middle man here and put a hole in the ground for who ever is on that thing.
Use to climb towers in my radio days and work on ships and man that one is a hard no from me.

LADDERS???!!! I would not even consider the scaffolding to get to the ladders. Got a daft video of me on a 30 foot scaffold tower hanging over the edge trying to change a light bulb in a sealed case with workmate below shaking it saying, does it feel safe. The ground directly below was not suitable for scaffolding. Look back now thinking.. Wow I wa a dick doing that.
