I had been up to Leavesden then to Shepperton. Major delays both ways on the A3 as people queued over all three carriageways to go and see the pretty flowers at RHS Wisley.
I needed a place to decompress. Just south of Petersfield and less than 2 miles off the A3 is Buriton. Parked in the church cat park, walked along the footpath to ward the wood and flew a battery’s worth in 25 degree September sunshine with no one disturbing me and a great view of the village and the farmland.
