St Michael's Church, Kirkham - Added to Places of Worship in North West

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission not required.

This falls within the Warton FRZ so permission will be required from the ATC, I used the Air Portal to submit my flight request and approval was given within a short period of time.

I parked on Church Lane, no parking restrictions on the side opposite the school, could get busy in the week but was quiet on Saturday morning. ///swan.grazed.towels

It is an active Anglican parish church in the diocese of Blackburn, the archdeaconry of Lancaster and the deanery of Kirkham.

The originator declared that this location was inside a flight restriction zone at the time of being flown. Permission to fly was obtained from Warton ATC. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.
