Does anyone know of a decent sticker embosser ? ( the ones that do the strips )
There’s lots on Amazon with almost all bad reviews
I had one years ago but the letters & numbers came out a bit wonky, is there a decent one that anyone knows of first hand, that does not jam up or try to print letters over letters & the letters come out spaced & embossed properly,
I hope that’s not a tall order but the only ones I can find seem to be maybe crap !
Any ideas in one that does a nice job & I guess I am being a bit picky if I’m being honest,
Thanks in advance ……
Hi @Kirky I’ve been using 1 of these for around 2 years with no issues. loads of different colours for the labels / letters. No problems with fading or coming unstuck. Battery or mains power (adaptor was supplied with mine but not sure if it’s included now). Got mine from Amazon at the time but now it looks like it’s cheaper from the Cartridge People.
Thanks buddy, I was just reading up on it,
I couldn’t find out if the labels are embossed ?
When or if you get a mo could you maybe screen shot any old label so I can see what they look like,
Would really appreciate it, thankyou
That wont emboss them @Kirky It will just print onto the label.
If you really do mean embossed, as in raised lettering then THIS might be what you’re after?
I’ve not used one of those ones for years. Half the battle with wonky lettering on them is not spinning the dial into the perfect spot and the letters therefore being too high or too low
Bit more expensive but I use it for work and it also prints onto heatshrink tubing and cable markers. I’ve tried buying the cheaper (non branded) tapes off amazon but I find they stick like snow to a window. Original label been on mini2 now for almost two years with no fading and no signs of peeling off.
That one looks good, waterproof labels to, also gave me ideas for the fridge / freezer, I’d get a lot more use out of that, yes originally was just getting one to put new tags on the drone / controller / case ( ID & if found call XXXXXX etc ), thanks for that
it wont matter too much which printer you go for, just make sure you buy decent label tape, or spend quite some time trying different brands to see what works. My employers pay for my labels so I just stick with the Brother ones to save any hassle
I use the laminated, extra strong adhesive tape, never tried anything other than yellow, white or green tape. But the link below shows what they do in white on black

To chime in with a recommendation, I’ve had a cheap Brother label printer’s label on the top of each drone, two years each. Both in and out of bags, each flown in the sunlight. Still stuck, not faded. Same type of sticker labelling stuff at work, some are maybe 8 years old. They peel cleanly when I pick at the corner. Impressive.
