Yes got paid for it. That’s the 2nd time I’ve had drone footage/pics used. The daily mail used pics of the falls of dochart in full flow a couple of months ago.

It’s pretty common for those agencies. Orders passed down from above to employees, who in fairness, accept it and don’t actually know the rules and go by what their bosses say. The person doing the chasing likely actually believes what they’re saying is true.
National Trust and Cadw have similar people. Tends to be very site specific - you get to know the sites that trigger a reaction after a while.
Quite fun if you’ve got time to kill to fly from a perfectly legal location and watch the staff run around flapping their arms desperately looking for the operator in the car park and other obvious places.
