I had no problem with anyone there. People looked at me and acknowledge the drone, but they seemed more fascinated by it. I also walked to an area that had the least human traffic. My philosophy when flying is that the reserve is for everyone to enjoy, so I respect everyone around me when flying and kept checking for people close by. When people walked close by I flew out away over the field and hovered till they walk on and then returned to record again.
I did my research on local by-laws restricted air zones etc, but could not find anything banning drones in the area. There were also no signs at the info board on the restriction for the use of drones.
If you in that area, go check it out. Its really beautiful.
