If you wait a while when the Mi Store begins reductions you can get this phone for as little as £114, but usually around £130 on special offer direct from manufacturer and honestly it’s a really capable phone. Works with DJI Fly app fine.
They are but uncertain if they price-match their own offers directly from their own website. Prices are high at the moment too … always the way when you want to purchase isn’t it. Good phone though if you can happen across one.
Not thought of that, but a good suggestion, especially with the possible phone/ text/ message interruptions while flying.
Would the 10" tablet fit onto the cradle / holder of my controller ?
My partner has a little used Samsung Galaxy Tab A6 from 2016 going spare running Android 8.1 I think and with Google Play Store on it, but will it work ?
Thanks for the photos and you tip, most useful.
Hi again, sorry to be a pain. I’ve downloaded it and it has gone to ‘staging’ , I’ve clicked on ‘install’ and it starts to do this but then tells me it has failed to install, don’t know why.
If thats the case then you’d be looking at a ‘Fire HD’ tablet which is 64 bit and has at least 3Gb ram 8" Fire HD = £99
…or around half that price when its on offer
Seems like I’m getting the answers for my needs, thanks again, this group has been very helpful to me as a complete novice to all things drone related.
