Switching RC-2 between drones

Currently have Mini 4 Pro with RC-2
Thinking of getting a Neo for a bit of fun.
Since the RC-2 is compatible with both Mini4 Pro & Neo, does anyone know if it is easy (or possible) to switch the RC-2 between the two when needed? Saves carrying round two RCs!
