Taking drone to USA

I agree.

I haven’t worried and never heard it mentioned in any of the US groups that I frequent.

Yep, I am all settled. Got my registration ID and TRUST certificate. For recreation flyer is this all that I need? My drone is less 250g.

Thanks for those who will answer.

Yes.

If you have the Mini 3 pro and buy the heavier batteries out there you need to register for $5 and display the number on the drone.

If you stay below you are good to fly.

Hi @John08, I’m heading out to the USA this May/June, heading down from Seattle to LA. Any tips on good places that you can fly in California? I’ve found most of the places I want to visit fall under the National Parks no-fly policies.

Hi @shorey9, it looks as though you’re quite new here :wave:t2:

Why not nip over to the Introductions page, and say hello properly and tell us a bit about yourself. :+1:t2:

That time frame will put you firmly in to their Remote ID requirement, which is 16th March 2024.

Make sure you’re covered

I’m going to be in LA and San Diego at the end of July/beginning of August.
I’ve got a Mini 3 Pro. I would expect that to be compliant with remote ID, but how can I check? Thanks

Here is the DJI Mini 3 Pro declaration of compliance:
