A short film from my trip to Oxroad Bay in East Lothian on Saturday. I was there to photograph & film Tantallon Castle just after sunrise. I couldn’t have picked a better morning for it as the early light was stunning. This is a Historic Scotland Property but you can take off and land from the foreshore on the beach below the cliffs (just check the time of the high tide though).

Beautiful was wondering where I could go to get Tantallon Castle on the drone x

There is a private road down to the beach at Seacliff, costs £3 to park. From there you can walk along the beach to get nearer the castle. Just be fully aware of what the tide is doing as it does come right up to the bottom of the cliffs at one point. We got there just as the tide was starting to go out.

Thanks for commenting on my film @MicWas77 it made me sit and watch it again myself for the first time since I uploaded it. I haven’t done many landscape films in ages, too busy shooting weddings, but will need to get back out again. Cheers :+1:
