A re-edited montage of a hike I did to Tegg`s Nose Country Park. Worked on the intro & outro with further emphasis on editing to the music and new clips added.

Nice video @ColSam458, I liked the punctuation shots linked to the music and the variation of views. I see too many videos just going up and over the same scene from different angles, even when beautifully shot they can be a bit samey, I know I’ve done it myself :flushed::joy::joy:

Thanks SteveD, appreciate your comments. Yes, I do try and capture a variety of shots which quite often requires additional visits to the location. Particularly when the weather turns against you. I think music choice is as important as the footage it self, and the 2 should be in harmony.

@ColSam458 I’m new to all this stuff and learning all the time. There really are some great YouTube channels that give loads of tips. I watch TV now with a whole new outlook, I find myself seeing how the pros put nature films together :nerd_face::grinning:. As you say, many hours of filming brings us short clips.

Yes, Ive learnt a lot from Youtube videos also, hopefully one day Ill delve into the world of FPV. I came across this amazing footage of a volcanic eruption yesterday… A true masterclass in cinematography!

That my friend is truly amazing. It takes courage and skill to send your drone into that situation. I saw a video of a fried Mini 2 or 3 after flying out over a live volcano. The bottom of the drone was a melted mess and the video was nowhere near as good as this one. Thanks for sharing @ColSam458

Agreed, very skilled pilot! Dont think Id be brave enough to risk it! Theres another video where I guy accidentally flies his brand new DJI FPV drone into an erupting volcano. Do a search for it, its had over 2 million views!

I subscribe to Ian’s channel and find his content reviews are quite informative. It’s certainly racking up the drone kills this volcano!
