The Avata is a TANK!

Over the weekend I thought it would be cool to practice in a bit of woodland in between trees and branches. Just whooping around - low and fast ( as fast as I dare go haha ) and man the Avata is a bit of a tank - hit a few tree’s / branches and the ground a few times and the little guy kept coming back for more and more.

Somehow I picked up a passenger during my flight and it tried to blind me haha - pesky leaf !

Flying using the FPV Controller 2 and using the Master Airscrew 3 blade props. Footage smoothed out using GrioFlow. Was not brave enough to go full on manual as I am building my muscle memories on the stick control but knowing how robust the Avata is I will swallow the brave pill next time.

Enjoy

Lol, I have started to use it for video, and with gyroflow it works really well for cinematic looks, pretty made up with the footage I captured at a local woods yesterday, looking forward to taking it back to Scotland in June

I have seen your workshop stuff and its great. I have access to a massive sortation warehouse that I would love to do something with. Do need to get my A2 CofC done first and then have a chat with management about it. Should not be an issue - just time really - always the case - but I will sort it sometime I am sure

Take a look at the woods flight yesterday, used gyroflow on it for the first time, just wow!! Wish I had sorted my jellification issue and used Gyrofow when I was at the Falls of Bruar - although gives me a good excuse to go back too…

Good luck with the warehouse flight, bet it will be epic

I giroflow’d the footage on mine - I should do a comparison of two files to see how much difference it does make - but this looks fab - brave to be close to water and tree’s haha but its very dramatic - not tempted to zoom under the footbridge I think I saw near the end - decent arch on it so plenty of space
