Flying Etiquette
-
All flying must take place from the TOAL point (including the blue badge area), including pilots.
-
No Take-offs or Landing from the trailer bed, only from the area around the trailer
-
When taking off and landing please announce this so everyone close by is aware
-
2 categories of drones - DJI Type and Self-built
-
Taken in turns from the hour (to be decided on the day)
-
Flying starts on the hour for 45 minutes
-
The pilots at the Toal point will decide on channels and frequencies, etc., between themselves
-
No powering on of ANY drone or controller ANYWHERE else on site whilst the 45 minutes of flying is taking place – Powering on a drone outside of the TOAL area could cause an FPV drone to crash
-
Any other RC-type machine must be controlled from the TOAL point and with permission from the current flying pilots
-
Once the 45 minutes are up, please land your drones, park your RC cars, etc.
-
After all the drones are landed, we will have 10 minutes of tinker time
-
This means anyone can now power up and tinker!
-
During this time, if a pilot wishes to fly, they can, but only from the TOAL point and at their peril!
And most important ….Don‘t be a *****…….. You know!
Please note: NO FLYING will take place on Friday (2 PM arrival time onwards) until a safety briefing has taken place
