The Buchaille

So, landscape photography is all about timing; being patient enough to wait until the light is just right.
Yep - as I walked back to car with @Drumsagard and the sun flooded the valley floor we reflected on that fact but just kept walking - too late now!

Well, before 9 this morning had @Drumsagard on the 'phone saying “Is your monitor calibration OK - is that the look you want? Images are awful muddy”.
To be honest I prefer the terms “soft and muted”

Here’s the same pano set again. Comments please (genuinely this is not a “whose side are you on”).
Are you for “soft and muted” or “punch 'em in the eye!” ?

There are some deer in that foreground area which I got on video (I’ll edit later in the week and post) and you can see that one of them agrees about the shit - it’s eating and shitting at the same time - how is that even possible?

Couldn’t resist just lifting this clip - had to zoom in to make it easier to see

:+1:t2:

I’m with you on this one. I like some subtle HDR but not too much.

Snapseed is great for this because you can dial it up and down until its right. We’ll right in my eyes, each to his own and all that.
