Cracking shots there Steve That sunset
501 meters Steve?
Thanks steve, have you seen my flight records definitely close to that mate
Brilliant shots ! no 2 and 3 would make a nice photo for any wall…
Thank you @FIREFOX for the kind words.
I found one I could share.
Photo of some of the ancient woodland in the village of Hellingly, Hailsham, East Sussex.
Nice shot I’d imagine this would look stunning in the autumn.
Another composite photo from me. This time Redcliffe Point to the east of Weymouth.

This is Dalmeny Park House Hotel in Barrhead just south of Glasgow. As we have 5 weddings there over the coming weeks Gavin @stridingsandal and I spent a couple of hours yesterday doing some location filming and photography.
Local Church to work
I am a TWAT officially. Was watching the Mini dropping towards the church nice and slowly and panicked when I saw 46ft altitude, didn’t want to upset anyone…YES, you twat 46ft above your altitude not 46ft above the churchyard. Still better safe than sorry!
I must be a Twat too then because I don’t even understand what you are trying to say
46 ft altitude and 46ft above the church yard? whats the difference here?
Do you mean, you didn’t want to be DIRECTLY over the church yard?
I was looking down on the church, approx 150ft below me…I am the biggest TWAT!
I TOAL from 150ft above the church!
Gotcha!!
I appear to have lost something in the translation!!??
My TOAL point was at 0 ft, the church 150ft below me. I flew out at 100ft from my TOAL point then dropped until 46ft altitude was showing on the app. At that point I was approx 200ft above the church.
I saw 46ft thought ‘something wrong’, panicked and flew back up to 100ft and returned to TOAL point.
The indicated height was from TOAL point not above the church. First time my TOAL point was significantly higher than where I was flying. Lesson learnt.
Might have to pop back and see haha.
