Thanks Ady, I call it my Sodom and Gomorrah style

Couldn’t find a general published pictures thread and didn’t think worthy of one so dumping it here. A sunset pic at Broadway tower from last year is in todays i newspaper. Thanks to the team at Broadway tower. Dinner is on them tonight.

You’d get a kicking from you-know-who if you entered that in a competition .

That’s exactly why I didn’t

Went out for a little fly with the Air 2s around 7, quite blustery. Just trying out some different stuff, software wise, bracketing, with and without filters and what not.

Here’s one of a rape field, I see this view every day on the way home from work. It’s just the side of the M58. I had an idea of catching it at sunset. Bloody hell I found it hard in post, bright yellow field with bits of green, bright sunset with blue sky  . Anyway here it is, with wood pigeon included…

And I thought I’d throw this one in from the weekend. It’s from when I went up to Entwistle viaduct. I was on the way back and saw the pine tree’s with the mist still snaking it’s way through. I though it looked ok so jumped out of the car, launched and shot

A clear blue sky all day, then about 8pm, the wind picked up, the sky went pink and purple in a matter of minutes, I looked out to the northeast and there was a a grey wall of cloud moving in.

Within minutes it was raining and quite windy, but I launched the Mini 3 anyway.

Flying drones? You’ve not completed the trailer yet! #GetBackAtIt. :stuck_out_tongue:

Oddly enough, I was down the garage painting the trailer with the garage door open when I noticed the sky change colour. I couldn’t resist, Dave

Nice pics Chris. Been windy in my neck of the woods most of the day. Was fighting it whilst doing a video high up on the hills near Cannock Chase with my mini 3p. Lost signals, gimbal jerking around etc… was challenging. Took 2 batteries to do 4 minutes worth of useful footage.

Thanks mate.

Well done for seeing it through. I have said it before, but I still reckon the Mini 2 is better than the Mini 3 in the wind. Even with my obstacle avoidance permanently switched off, it doesn’t seem as rock solid as the Mini 2.

And until we get an SDK it always will be ;o)

@clinkadink I think the mp3 intermittant gimbal shake and the weak signal are affected more than my mini 2 in the wind but dont have to put so many counter imputs to stop drift with the m3p. Odd I know! But not quite as brave (or mad ) as you are when it comes to flying in strong wind! :hugs:

I’ve had a few days away. First stop Marple near Stockport, and then Manchester. On my way home via the Peak District. Took this shot not far from Stanage Edge… Good sky, great colours. Great fun… Mini 3 Pro with 16 stop ND filter.

I fancied a little fly about last night with the Air 2s to take a few snap’s. I seem to be getting into this photography lark…

Stannanought island as you come into Skelmersdale. It reminds me of a sample of wallpaper from the 70’s

Stannanought road West leading off from the right of the above image. I didn’t really like the way this one turned out, but it is what it is

Grimshaw rd, Skelmersdale, known as the Centrelink…opened up some horses on my bikes down here in the past  This branches off from the bottom of the island down to the epicentre and heart of Skem…The Concourse…ahem

That you are & doing very well :clap:t2:

A couple of the recently refurbished STEAMhouse in Birmingham

And a new railway bridge installation thingy, this used to just be a bank but all the HS2 work in the area means even the old lines need work to make way for it.

An old scrap metal depot and a whole bunch of land (which I didn’t take a picture of) has been totally uplifted for HS2. A depot (Of what seems to be tons along this stretch, I’m hoping this all makes sense one day) is planned for here.
