There’s a better one just up the road between Gailey and Coven on the A449. Our favourite breakfast call in on our away days playing golf. 
Have you been to truckers rest… we do enjoy it as great food and banter with staff. Will have to find the one you mention too. Not keen on the one a little up the A5. Dont like attutude and the way they operate since take over.
Yes Russ. I used to work as an Area Transport Manager based in Telford and the A5 truck stops were very familiar to me. I know the one you are referring too further up the A5, which IMO should have been closed as a health hazard years ago (I’ve been retired 4 years so apologise if its changed hands since my last visit). 
The truckers rest is our favourite but not keen on the road king further up.

There used to be one on the same road nicknamed locally as Greasy Lils, used to be open 24/7, I can recall going in there a few times after a late night out back in the late 80’s!
