Nice shots there Chris.

Just off topic a little, how much better all in all, is the Air 3?

The Nation Historic Ships contacted me and asked me to enter it into their competition

Thanks Ady.

Compared to what? The Air 2?

I am loving the battery life, which seems to last forever … especially being used to flying the Mini 3 Pro of late. Stability wise, I have had it out in 40 mph gusts and it’s rock solid, as expected. Range is amazing, I haven’t used anything like it before. Great signal. Camera is decent, I’ve taken loads of photos, but not any video yet. Only been out 3 times so far, so tool early to tell.

Yeh sorry mate, the Air 2S :+1:.

Thanks for all the honest info. You’ve practically confirmed all of what I’ve caught fleeting glances of while trying to stay away from reviews…because once I start watching reviews I’ll get sucked in big time and hit that buy button.

The one thing really that I love about the 2S is how solid it is in gusty conditions, it goes and stays where I tell it to. Holy mountain on Anglesey the other week was testament to that.

Cheers Chris…you may have just cost me a bundle

A few more snap’s of what I got around to doing, taken in Anglesey, just coastline shot’s really in the South Stack/Holy mountain area of Holy Island.

Holy mountain and South Stack taken from Porth Dafarch

A closer shot of Holy mountain

Porth Dafarch is where you get a ton of surfer dudes and Kayak riders. The surf around there is great.

And finally, a view down from Holy mountain towards the lighthouse itself

@Kirky Thought it was kind of a strange building that Rich till I realised it was an outdoor swimming pool. Mind you wouldn’t fancy it myself… as you’d get drenched in a downpour!:grin:

Seven Sisters, East Sussex coast. Mavic Air 2
Very wIndy: wind 24mph gusting 31mph.

I’ve not really uploaded many photos to the forum, but I do fly lots, and most of the time there’s some water involved.

A slight breeze today so the waves aren’t that big and not a lot of wind surfers out on the water.

quite nerve wracking hovering that close to the surface trying to shoot little waves breaking
