Angering the Aliens

Went to check out the latest crop circle to spring up near where i live - it was first reported on 8 June and within just a few hours, the farmer whose land it was on had mowed out all the detail, presumably either to stick 2 fingers up at the "“aliens” who had landed over night to create the shape or to discourage human visitors from trampling his crops to look at it.

The damage was a shame as it looked a nice example of the art at 75 metres (aprox) in diameter and in a lovely location just a stone’s throw from the beautiful UNESCO village of Avebury in Wiltshire but still worth a photo for posterity

Wilton Windmill Wiltshire,

Went here for the poppy fields all poppies are gone, reversed the motor into an iron girder sticking out the grass, then dropped my SD card in the long grass & struggled to find it :grimacing:
( Rule 32 Of The Internet, Yes I Have )

I went for a short 300 yard walk last night at 21:30 to the creek, the tide was in and Dogzilla immediately went into the water. It was breezy but i put my new Mini 4 up. Only one subject - my goto test marina

1/15 second exposure at 70 metres altitude - according to the airdata log the wind up there was almost 11m/s as opposed to 5 on the ground. I was getting a few “RTH won’t work due to wind speed - descend immediately” type warnings

My place of work yesterday, the Costa Del Clyde aka Kip Marina in Inverclyde. I had to chill with a drone flight last night, at the end of a hard, hot day. In fact probably the hardest I’ve had in a long time, as I had an outdoor wedding where I had to shoot both photos & video on my own as my videographer called off sick at the last minute. Who knew you could shoot photos with one hand and video with the other, in fact my wife always says I can only do one thing at a time :joy:

I have been watching five buildings rise on a site I drive past on odd occasions. As the weather was looking to change Anne felt the camera should take some stills.

I believe this one will be servicing aircraft parts.

…as for the others

and finally

Pleased the Mavic Air 2 coped with the windy conditions.
