A moist day on the Fylde Coast, in Fleetwood again and managed to find a short break in the rain to play with the Air 3s.

Ford Green Hall. Took this photo last autumn and only just got around doing the video of it, which will be out tomorrow. Lovely place stuck right in the middle of Stoke-on-Trent!!

As a young boy i lived less than half a mile from Fordgreen hall & played in the grounds many times. It was a museum then, not sure whether it still is, ive not been near in seventy years.

Sure is, matey. They’re surviving on donations and events and are run by a trust.

If you get the time, watch my YouTube video out tommorow. :hugs:

Amazing, story, about your childhood over 70 yrs ago. There is a huge park behind it that stretches beyond to Chatterley Whitfield Colliery Heritage Centre. :heart_hands:

That park was just open fields with a brook running through the middle in my day. Your photo brings back many happy childhood memories when i hadn’t a care in the world, thanks for posting it.
I’ll certainly look at your youtube video & subscribe if you have link.

Thanks for the link Colin, ive watched the video on whimore hall. Eleven years ago i lived on the westlands for 13 years and often golfed with a group, once including David Mannering. Prior to the westlands i lived in north shropshire very near to the Cheshire border, consequently have many friends & colleagues in the whitmore area. Ive consumed many a pint in the mannering arms. No doubt you are from that area too.
Im going to as suggested sit down with a cup of tea & watch the video of ingestre park golf club showing the changes since hs2. Ive played there many times while i was a member of Brocton hall gc but thats before the changes.
Your videos are excellent Colin, i wish i had your skills, keep up the good work.

@yachtsman Cheers Barry. I live in Stafford, but have to take the missus to work at Royal Stoke Hospital occasionally and film while I’m there.

Ingestre is getting better by the minute and I have permission to fly there at any time. Once we’re back on the proper greens, I’ll take my Air 3s over for an update. :hugs:

May need a little work with a jet wash :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Can’t resist a visit to Lancaster smoke house, today it was Kippers, potted shrimp & smoked eel.

Had to gp back to Fleetwood today so took the Air 3s out for a play, surprisingly good weather as earlier in week it was forecast rain & strong winds.

You wouldn’t have managed that around here, today .. I’m at the end of the small arrow, and it’s moving as per the dashed arrow … at times I’ve struggled to see the end of the garden. :scream:

Keyhaven River and Marshes on The Solent, the Isle of Wight in the background in some shots, Hurst Castle and Spit in some. Pano merged manually in LrC. Mavic 4 Pro. From 4 December, dusk at low tide. Interesting to compare with my sunset shots from 30 November at high tide:
