Ah… so its got to be in Colour Mode… gotcha… Have used the grab stills for setting the grading onto all clips, but didnt know they could be movd to export, will give it a go…
I seem to recall in a recent mini-version update they also added somewhere more accessible. I’ll take a look. Used that method for so long I forgot about that.
Not finding it. I’ll give it more thought.
Found it … really useful.
On either Cut or Edit tabs …
File / Export / Current Frame as Still …
Might remember that myself, now.
shooosh, don’t tel her man, she’ll only beat my entry ffs
Ah but I can only use footage form January, so you are relatively safe, I only had 8 flights, and 7 of them were within a mile of home…
you can use any flights or any footage taken (and posted) up till midnight tonight. Everything was extended to get the challengfe underway
Still only gives me one more flight in Feb… The other video I posted - of the Mersey Gateway Sunrise - was filmed back in November, I just didnt get around to editing it until last week…
After a (very) slow start we have managed a respectable 24 entries, but we hope to beat that in the next round which is Open Now
But for now we are open for voting
Rules
Voting is open to all forum members and associates, entrants or otherwise.
Each voter will be allowed up to three votes in each round.
In the event of any ties, another round of voting will be opened. In this event each voter shall have only one vote to cast.
Do not vote for your own entry, doing so will result in its disqualification.
Voting will be open for 7 days, after which, the poll will automatically close
All votes will be hidden until the end of the poll.
Once the poll has been opened it can not be edited, changed, or modified. The forum software does not allow it, regardless of how high up the chain of command you are. Therefore we are hoping some of the ChallCom and Moderation Teams can also take part if they wish.
The Rewards:
The top 3 placings from each round will be awarded GWoF Gold R1, GWoF Silver R1, GWoF Bronze R1.
The winners from each round will have their entry placed in the newly created GWoF Challenge Gallery.
At the end of 12 rounds, the 36 winners will be entered into a super-poll where the top 3 entries will have their work entered into the GWoF Winners Enclosure and be granted unique 2024 Wall of Fame badges.
Thanks for the votes folks!
Good luck to Suzanne @AlbionDrones and Richard @Kirky
Congats John, very well deserved! I am amazed to be in the vote off though
Well done John, Rich and Suzanne.
Thank you john @Drumsagard a lovely picture there of yours & well deserved
Afternoon
I thought voting for your own picture is not allowed as set out in the rules
In the nicest possible way
@Kirky A Challenges Committee Member’s prerogative Rich.
Ouch @AlbionDrones, naughty naughty
I am sure, as is will everyone else be, that this was an oversight and that you were not trying to pull a swift one? Maybe you even done it on purpose to ensure your entry did not count? Why I don’t know as it is a rather nice picture.
As much as it pains me to do it, I am afraid the rules are the rules and must be followed by everyone. This is the strictest rule in the challenge so I am afraid your entry has to be rejected
@Drumsagard is the clear winner in 1st
@Kirky is awarded second place.
@Stomper is awarded third place
The new poll for deciding 2nd/3rd will now be closed.
Apologies to the rest of you, We should have spotted this before it was brought up by an entrant.
MUST TRY HARDER!
Truly it was a mistake, I had not seen that part of the rules, as such I apologise most profusely to everyone, it will not happen again, and offer my heartfelt congrats to both Kirky who gets the well deserved 2nd place and to Stomper who claims 3rd…
Thanks also to the Committee for their fair implementation of the rules…
@AlbionDrones suzanne, I just wanted to say not for one minute did I think you done it on purpose so please don’t feel I was trying to make any innuendo’s, it’s an easy mistake to make especially as I know you mainly are concentrated on your videos etc, we all make mistakes ( especially me )
I did go over & over the rules when I noticed it as I thought maybe they had changed ( meaning I had not been reading again )
Don’t blame it on yourself I’d blame it on chalcom for reading the results with one eye open & not drinking enough coffee at 7am soooo naughty naughty to them ( not you )
