sorry chaps that was as far as I was “allowed” to fly
Although the guys in the BLUE RHIB were a “little” further out, but there were only two of them and only one outboard, plus it could be incriminating evidence seeing as I may or may not have used my spotting scope
Luss, Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, Scotland - Mini 3 Pro - shot 11/08/22 @11:20am
I claim 5 points please?
Luss is a village in Argyll and Bute, Scotland, on the west bank of Loch Lomond in the heart of the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. It is one of Scotland’s 40 National Scenic Areas.
Very nice. 5 points. It lseems you are finding some cracking places on your holiday. Beware the seaplanes indeed - looks like they could be ruinous on your wallet …
I wish I was on holiday lol, I was working, shooting a wedding down near loch Lomond. No holidays for me during the wedding season, I lose too much money
Would this be expectable for permission to fly within a FRZ? Its for Carlisle airport which has a FRZ on drone scene but the airport is currently closed.
We don’t think that the email itself grants you permission without further actions on your part.
Via Drone Scene you can create the flight report suggested by Carlisle’s Senior Air Ground Controller. From the header menu on Drone Scene select “Flight Reports” which will bring you tp this screen:
Link your Altitude Angel account
In order to submit Flight Reports you need to link your Drone Scene account to your Altitude Angel Account.
An active Altitude Angel account is required in order to submit Flight Reports. If you do not have a Altitude Angel account you will be prompted to create one.
During the account-linking process you will be asked to grant permission to Drone Scene to:
Manage flight reports
Required in order to create and delete flight reports
Query user information
Required in order to ensure you are the genuine account holder
When you link your Altitude Angel account to your Drone Scene account you are authorising Altitude Angel to exchange data directly with Drone Scene.
You can revoke this permission at any time.
Follow the instructions and make your report.
Also we would strongly suggest informing Scottish Control (Prestwick): 01294-655300 as there is a parachute jumping zone concentric with the airfield. (see below) They are more qualified than the Challenges Committee to give advice on aviation law and safety
Thank goodness for the RNLI, always there when you need them. Not everyone realises that they receive no government funding and the crew are volunteers.
Youre right there!!! I never knew until last year that all their money comes from donations and fundraising. 10 minutes after the wee boat came in its big sister arrived with some extra passengers in shorts and T-shirts, managed to grab a couple of crappy snaps with the DSLR. Possibly been rescued from an inflatable no doubt
