The Great Big GADC 5th Birthday and Treasure Hunt Challenge!

3 points awarded :+1:t2: Congratulations John on finding what we think is the hardest subject this year. The subject was designed to be very difficult but not impossible. We were starting to wonder if anyone had the patience/determination to capture this item :slightly_smiling_face:

So only 10 or 11 hours travelling plus however long it took waiting for the correct combination of vehicles to come along. We will have to think of ways to make it more difficult for next year :smirk:

A drone photo of a unicorn? Oh, crap, I shouldn’t be giving you ideas :man_facepalming:

Photo of a predominately gold motorbike jumping over a matt black helicopter with side tanks?

Bonus points if the rotors are red white and blue!

Popped in the bank of subject items thanks :slightly_smiling_face:

After discreetly observing his competitors, Bertram breathed a sigh of relief. Just like him, none of the contestants had had the wit to build a cabin on their models

at least I ought to get third again :joy: :joy:

I did actually consider buying a £20 toy of a sailing boat and whacking it on the lakes near here at one point as been as the toy train had been accepted. I wonder if a rule change on miniatures will be added next year.

Four points :pickup_truck:

Cotswolds Airport used to be RAF Kemble used for aviation purposes during WW2.

It is now a small commercial airport but with many tourist attractions, including Car Chase Heroes. Photo of me bombing an Aston Martin Vanquish around the track (birthday present from the mrs).

The planes by the entrance have been there for many years. They are not operational. Hopefully this qualifies as ‘Gate Guardians’. Some of them sadly, are in a state of decay.

Note that I was inside an FRZ at the time, but I did have permission to fly (as shown in the previous post).

Please can I have 5 points?

Unfortunately Chris we cannot see a gate guardian only some abandoned planes so you are awarded 4 points :+1:t2:
