The Great Big GADC 7th Birthday Challenge and Treasure Hunt!

THIS IS MY ENTRY

I’m claiming a single point for a national trust property. Its the NT coastal visitor centre at Ravenscar. Its the North Sea not a pond in the background so no bonus points and no wiki link. TOAL parking space on the B road next to it.

  1. A National Trust (or Scottish / NI equivalent) property - TOAL from non-NT land please!

That explains the impressive arrays of parked vehicles. 3 points awarded

Welcome to the Challenge Hamish.

First picture, slight controversy. We asked for a picture showing:

River - marked as such on Google Maps or Ordnance Survey (proof required)

The OS map shows the body of water with no indication as to what it is. We think you got your maps mixed up and intended to post Google Maps version:

which does mark it as the River Esk.

3 points

Ravenscar visitor centre 1 point.

7. A heavy recovery vehicle - boom and/or underlift type, NOT a flatbed. :white_check_mark:

Macadam Recovery depot, Blackpool, 30/8/23 DJI Mini2.
Actually 2 in the shot - one between the white van and smashed caravan, but can’t see how many axles it has, so no bonus points :frowning:

1 point claimed please

Selco seem to have cornered the market in forklifts though.

I don’t care what model car as long as it’s a violet colour. Yes, for a week. Insured for any driver. Mileage? Around the UK probably …

We hate it when competitors get together and organise things. We bet they are even thinking of trying Subject 17 at the Big Meet Part Deux this weekend. But, if you want to see what they have achieved individually, Click-the-Pic™ to be taken to the Leaderboard!

The Rabbit Rooms, Bangor Mini 3 Pro 28/8/2024 8pm.This was banked (hoping to get back when the tables outside were busier), but as I’m off to Scotland 1st thing on Sunday this’ll have to do

9. An Austin 7 (1922-39)

  • Bonus for an open car (i.e hood down) :x:
  • Bonus for yellow, orange or red main bodywork :x:
A second photo of the car taken at ground level (drone, phone or camera) would be appreciated.

I spotted this on my way past, got the drone out, took the photo, went home. Read the brief ‘A second photo of the car taken at ground level (drone, phone or camera) would be appreciated’. Drove back down again it was gone.

This one was taken a bit lower down, maybe it’ll do?

One point please.
