One careful owner. And how many crap ones? It was in great shape for a car that age. :+1:

Item 20. A military vehicle on a public road

  • Bonus for a convoy of three or more
  • Bonus if one vehicle is not olive green
  • Bonus if one vehicle is tracked and moving under its own power

Desert Jeep British Airborne near Cosby Leicestershire, 29/08/2024 DJI Mini3 pro

Calming one bonus for vehicle is not olive green (I think or does it have to be in a convoy this was not clear?)

I would like to claim two point please ?

The requirement is for you to photograph the subject

Item 20. A military vehicle on a public road

That’s fine.

Then there are three bonus items. They are unrelated in that the first bonus does not have to be met in order for the second to be valid

So one vehicle is not olive green.

Two points

Seven of Nine
My final, and somewhat tongue-in-cheek entry for this year. Last year we planted 10 oak seeds but only nine sprouted. The small oak trees, seven of which are pictured here will be planted out this Autumn. Mini 3 Pro 29/8/2024, Bangor

23. Seven trees - exactly seven, obviously isolated from any others

  • Bonus for both deciduous and evergreen trees in same clump of seven :x:

No scale models involved here, these are actual trees, though I suppose one could argue they’re saplings not trees, but otherwise they fulfil the brief as above?

Anyway enough of all that, a point (or not) please at the committee’s discretion.

Good luck to all those that are still in!

23. Seven trees - exactly seven, obviously isolated from any others

A young tree with a slender trunk is known as a sapling. Just as a young duck is called a “duckling,” a young tree is called a sapling. The suffix “-ling” comes from Old English and often shows up today at the end of words to mean “young” or “youngster.”

Baby trees.

In pots so not in contact with any others.

All deciduous.

So only one point.

Sneaky wee bu**er!

Well done, Paul and thanks for your contributions to this year’s Challenge. We are now holding you fully responsible for these trees and expect reports and pictures when they are planted out and progress pictures as they grow

Firstly, excellent loophole work :+1:

Secondly, if this isn’t a Star Trek reference I’m very disappointed…

Given that this competition seems to be less about the subject and more about the loophole we are surprised that you didn’t site and write a wiki article yourself!

Three points for the old lighthouse!

And three for the sports ground.

You have your self-imposed score of 10 but please, keep going !

Genuinely considered doing that for a couple of the topics
