A few at Greylake today

On my way home from work and decided to travel down through Glenshee. Saw this little cairn not far from the ski slopes. Pretty much unnedited, just a slight crop and removal of something that was distracting my eye in the midground. I think this needs a little more playing with to bring out the best in it? Taken on myNikon D5300 with 300mm zoom lens andin-camera custom presets to try and replicate Tmax film

A few from this mornings early shoot at Greylake NNR
Have to say, the heron (pic 1) reminds me of myself when I’m trying to impress the wife with my robe on! :person_facepalming:t4::joy:

Finally got the Kingfisher shots youve been after, awesome Steve :clap:t2:

Love all these bird photos mate, that one with the Swan I would literally hang on my wall, love it :star_struck:

So hard to get photos of those little buggers. Theres a wee river near me that has a really popular walk beside it, always stappit. Every time I walk it I hear the peep peep, peep peep, peep peep and see the iridescent flash. Never yet managed to get a decent photo.

Thank you guys, we’ll chuffed I caught it!

Excellent photos… :+1:

Adoration reiterated.
