The Great Big Non-Drone Photo Thread!

From a Cosplay shoot over the weekend.

This past Thursday a group of old codgers and me got together to photograph (and travel inside) a 1940s Midland Red C1 (one of only two left still operating) and a North Western Leyland Tiger TS7 built in 1936 around the Cotswolds. It was quite interesting to see locals come out the woodwork with their vintage cars (completely unplanned) to include in some of the shots. Which may have been just as well to keep some of the neighbours from complaining as we literally just rocked up with these buses, plonked them outside cottages, knocked on the door and said can we photograph these outside your house for 30 mins or so. Everyone was more than delighted (except the lady whose mums funeral was at the church an hour later) :joy:

Love those :+1:t2:

I visited Reekie Linn waterfall again in the hope of some more drone shots, but it was a bit too windy for my liking. The mini2 probably would have handled it but despite the fact I’ve had her for almost two years I’m still nervous flying over this. Yeah I know, long exposures on waterfalls have been done to death, just like starburst and tobaco filters were in the film days.

Sometimes when I’m out witht the camera my childish imagination resurfaces.
All I could see were these two horrible serpents making their way through the water.

I was in Oban on Friday doing a recce for a wedding we’re filming soon, but got side-tracked by some bluebells, an old wall and a castle  Got to test out the RAW image quality on my new Lumix S5II and I have to say it’s superb, definitely up there with my Nikons.

Nice John, but I don’t think they’ll beat your bluebells shot at Kinclaven!!!

Cheers Darren. Yeah you are right, I don’t know of anywhere better than Kinclaven. I haven’t been up there this year, do you know how they are looking just now?

Yip, been visiting the last few weeks, just about in full bloom. I reckon this week to weekend will see them in full bloom. I’ve been up a lot with a D70 converted to IR but I’m having problems with the focus shift, I’ll get there though!!! Trying to upload a pic but keeps getting rejected!

Sounds good, I’ll need to pop up :+1: :running_man:

This could look shit, uploaded from mobile
