Not my usual photographic subject matter, but I recently shot my friend Derek’s car. This is a composite of 10 separate images. In each the car and camera (tripod mounted) is unmoved, then off camera flash is fired at various parts of the car to light it. Behind the car is off camera flash with a red gel. The first photo was taken at 4 stops under the ambient light exposure without flash to really darken the background. The idea was to make it look more like sunset, though it was shot in broad daylight.
Bet his pointing is fucked
I don’t know what kind of spider it is but it’s a scary looking bugger
Just returned from the sun setting over Roundway Down, Devizes. Never been there before, what a stunning place. Views are amazing
Also tried out my new Samyang 135mm f/2 manual focus lens. A few shots below which are straight from the camera, no editing at all.
New powerlines being installed local to me, The first operational T pylons in the country.

Look at those gaps @group-fpv
Flying them would give you a buzz
I thought it was Steele who hit a power cable recently in a video, but can’t find it. Nice gaps though
I was thinking , ‘Mmm, drone catchers’. But then I don’t fly FPV
Stop teasing me. I’m itching to go fly
Never mind all that nonsense… How many axles do the cranes have?
Go fly then
I’m guessing the one in that photo was this one, spotted a couple weeks ago in the lay-by up the road.
