Number 18. Wheatley Windmill in Oxfordshire.
Canal Lock - with Narrowboat.
Tyrley Locks - a run of five Locks between Norbury and Market Drayton. Thought a hyperlapse of the whole lock process would be a bit different The guy driving/steering also had a Mavic which he used to fly ahead and check for morring spaces!
Excellent! A canal boat with powerboat acceleration! lol
Very picturesque! Beautiful setting.
Surely enough to power all of my daughters gadgets!!!

Asterley Windmill (with Sails) - bit of a surprise!
So set off this morning to Asterley (W of Shrewsbury) to try and “capture” the Windmill there as its apparently the only Windmill in Shropshire with sails (all comments / alternates gratefully received). Found a place to leave the car (all single track lanes) and then found a place to safely launch. Took off to around 300’ to have a general recce, check light, possible angles etc. and grabbed a couple of taster shots so here’s my entry
Didnt manage to get anything more impressive as a police helicopter imitating Airwolf passed under me at a rate of knots (see bottom left of pic below not an entry to comp).
At which point I decided it was appropriate to RTH and pack up just in time for another to come over at similar altitude. NATS showed nothing (apart from beware of the Windmill) so all in all quite an eventful day! decided not to try and get any other pics
The rules aren’t there to be broken, they’re meant to be read and followed.
Sorry - I didn’t realise I couldn’t identify one as my Entry and one as my “story” in the same post
Bad boy , nice shots.
Reminder -
Grey Day today 10/7, so sadly no Sun/clouds reflections - so here’s Gailey Reservoir(s) (A5/M6 J12) as a pano - showing the multiple Jetties
Thanks it’s all a bluff! I’m out of the country for a variety of reasons from the end of July - so it’s grab as many as I can before time and the British Summer hit me!
Yes, I’m planning around losing two weeks of photo contest opportunity due to being in Iceland, shame only home country photos are allowed!
No4 - Agricultural Field with a Tractor

The subtly named “Clock Tower” at A518, Trench, Telford. Taken at 7pm tonight - clock face showing 7pm
Tried and failed to circle and capture all 4 faces at 7pm (must keep practising).
Slightly cropped to enhance the effect of the road to distance
So calming, and nice work Skye!
